The new Jawa 42 features a 294cc, J-Panther, liquid-cooled engine, and has received a Rs. 16,000 price cut.
Recently, Jawa Motorcycles introduced the upgraded Jawa 42 model in India, starting at Rs 1.73 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Jawa 42 boasts substantial mechanical enhancements over its predecessor, along with new features and a variety of paint choices. Surprisingly, the new bike is cheaper than its predecessor, with the older model starting at Rs 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
Jawa 42 Engine
Classic Legends has taken what they’ve learned from the Jawa 350 and Yezdi Adventure to upgrade the engine of the Jawa 42. This enhancement has given birth to a 294cc liquid-cooled J-Panther engine that can deliver 27.32hp and 26.84Nm of torque. In addition, Jawa has added a slip and assist clutch, and a 6-speed gearbox with gear-based throttle mapping to ensure seamless gear transitions for you.
The company made some upgrades to the bike to improve your riding experience. They modified the balancer weight and gear to lessen vibrations. Jawa also adjusted where the rear shocks are attached and put in a more comfortable seat. and improvements in ground clearance (175 mm)
The basic model comes with a round headlight, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank and a curved rear fender, single-channel ABS, spoked wheels, and an analog LCD display. On the flip side, the top model features a fully digital LCD panel. Presently, you can opt for the Jawa 42 with spoked wheels and single-channel ABS, spoked wheels and dual-channel ABS, or alloy wheels with dual-channel ABS, depending on your preference
The 2024 version offers a variety of 14 colors for you to choose from. You can pick between matte and gloss finishes. Among these choices are six fresh colors: Vega White, Voyager Red, Asteroid Grey, Odyssey Black, Nebula Blue, and Celestial Copper Matte.
