The 2024 Swift is available in five variants
The fourth-generation Swift, which is priced starting at Rs 6.49 lakh and comes in five variants—LXi, VXi, VXi (O), ZXi, and ZXi+—was introduced by Maruti. The departing model did not come with the mid-spec VX (O) trim. The all-new Swift has many more features than just an economical engine and a refreshed look; even entry-level models come with halogen projector headlights and six airbags. Front Design and Styling
At the front of the car, you’ll notice the familiar Swift family look with a twist. The grille features striking red elements, and the Suzuki logo has been relocated to the top. The headlights resemble those of the Baleno, equipped with daytime running LEDs and projector LEDs. The fog lamps also boast LED technology, adding to the overall style of the car.
Side Profile and Exterior Features
Moving to the side profile, the Swift maintains its signature stance with 15-inch alloy wheels and unique mirror patterns on the accessorized version. The addition of a passive entry door handle enhances convenience, while the overall design retains the Swift’s classic appeal.
Rear Styling and Utility
At the rear, the car’s design echoes the previous generation of Swift, featuring complete LED tail lamps and a prominent rear camera. The spacious 265-litre boot space and practical split-folding seats ensure usability and functionality. Additionally, the inclusion of six airbags emphasizes safety as a key priority in the new Swift.
Interior Comfort and Features
Inside the cabin, the car offers a blend of comfort and technology. The upholstery options range from fabric seats to leatherette for enhanced safety in airbag deployment. Advanced features such as Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and a 9-inch touchscreen display elevate the driving experience.
New Swift Performance and Engine Specifications
Under the hood, the new model comes equipped with a 1.2-litre petrol engine, now in a three-cylinder configuration for improved acceleration and fuel efficiency. The car is available in both manual and AMT variants, with a focus on enhancing the driving dynamics while maintaining a balance between power and mileage.
Maruti Suzuki, however, has already started taking reservations for the brand-new Swift hatchback in India. In addition, a maximum booking fee of Rs 11,000 has been implemented for the new Swift.
