2024 TVS Jupiter vs Honda Activa 6G: Engine and Performance
Let’s talk about the new upgrades to the TVS Jupiter 110 running gear. Now, this model comes with a bigger 113 cc engine. All versions come with an integrated starter generator (ISG) to give you an extra boost. However, the exclusive ‘iGo Assist’ feature, which provides more torque during acceleration and a start-stop system, is only available in the SmartXonnect models. The basic models without iGo Assist offer a maximum of 7.9 bhp and 9.2 Nm of torque, while the SmartXonnect versions offer a slightly better 9.8 Nm of torque.
The Activa is equipped with a 110 cc engine that produces 7.7 bhp and 8.9 Nm of torque. In terms of power, the Activa generates more power at higher rpm levels than the Jupiter. This difference should theoretically make the Activa a bit faster than the Jupiter.
The old Jupiter model could go up to 50 kilometers on a liter of fuel. But now, the new version, with its electric assist technology, is expected to boost that by 10%. The Honda Activa also boasts a similar mileage of 50 km/l.
