The new BMW M2 has been enhanced to deliver more power and features some fresh design elements.
BMW India has recently introduced the 2025 M2 in India, priced at Rs 1.03 crore (ex-showroom). With the latest model, BMW M2 receives a boost in power, subtle design enhancements, fresh color choices, and added technological features. This second-generation M2, brought in as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), offers an exciting driving adventure along with a wide range of customization possibilities for you to tailor your experience.

2025 BMW M2: Exterior Design
The 2025 BMW M2 has a striking and fierce look that mirrors its high-speed capabilities. Notable design features include a sleek kidney grille without a frame, flared wheel arches that contribute to the car’s aerodynamic shape, updated alloy wheels, M2 badging in black on the trunk, and standard black exhaust tailpipes.
The sports coupe still has different-sized wheels – 19 inches in the front and 20 inches in the back. Now, you have the option to pick either black or silver finishes. If you opt for it, you can get the M light-alloy wheels in double-spoke with a silver finish. While the design hasn’t altered much, the car now offers more color choices like Sao Paulo Yellow, Fire Red, Portimao Blue, and Skyscraper Grey.

2025 BMW M2: Interior, Features
The interior of the M2 includes BMW’s new M steering wheel, offering accurate control and enhancing the athletic feel. It also comes with Operating System 8.5 for its entertainment and digital panel. The cockpit boasts a 12.3-inch digital instrument screen and a 14.9-inch central touchscreen, forming the BMW Curved Display system.
Some new features have been added, like revamped air vents and the possibility of adding red details to regular sports seats. If you’re looking for a more race-oriented feel, you can now get the M Carbon bucket seats on their own. These seats used to be only part of the M Race Track package, but now you have more freedom to customize your experience.
In 2025, the BMW M2 comes packed with various safety features as standard. You’ll find six airbags, dynamic stability control, anti-lock braking system, automatic stability control, M dynamic mode, cornering brake control, dynamic brake control, and an active M differential in this model.

2025 BMW M2 Powertrain
In the 2025 BMW M2, the most notable improvement is the upgraded 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine. The power has been increased to 473 bhp and 600 Nm of torque (550 Nm with the manual), matching the performance of the larger M3 and M4 models. This is a significant boost from the previous 446 bhp. The engine is mated with an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard, with the option of a 6-speed manual transmission.
The car accelerates quickly, going from 0 to 100 kmph in only 4 seconds using automatic transmission and 4.2 seconds with manual. If you opt for the M Driver’s Package, the speed limiter is raised from 250 kmph to 285 kmph.
