2025 Ducati Streetfighter V2debuts in India at Rs 17.50 lakh with a new 890cc V-twin, lighter chassis, advanced electronics and V2 S variant.

Ducati has launched the 2025 Streetfighter V2 in India, priced at Rs 17.50 lakh (ex-showroom), bringing its latest “Fight Formula” middleweight naked to our market. Alongside the standard bike, Ducati India has also introduced the higher-spec Streetfighter V2 S, priced at Rs 19.49 lakh(ex-showroom), which is positioned as the more track-focused and premium option.

At the heart of the2025 Ducati Streetfighter V2 is an all-new 890cc, 90-degree V-twin engine that complies with Euro 5+ norms. It produces 120hp at 10,750rpm and 93.3Nm of torque at 8,250rpm, making it Ducati’s lightest twin-cylinder motor to date. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and up/down quickshifter, and Ducati also offers a race exhaust through its accessories line that can bump power further while trimming a few kilos.

The Streetfighter V2 follows the familiar recipe of stripping the fairing off a Panigale and fitting a wide handlebar, but this 2025 model is more than just a styling exercise. It uses a lightweight monocoque frame that employs the engine as a stressed member, helping keep dry weight down to 178kg for the standard V2 and just 175kg for the V2 S. The single-sided swingarm, inspired by the Panigale V4, aims to combine stability at high speed with agility in tight corners.

Hardware differs between the two variants. The standard Streetfighter V2 gets fully adjustable Marzocchi USD forks and a Kayaba monoshock, while the V2 S steps up to premium Öhlins suspension components and a lithium-ion battery to shave additional weight. Both versions are equipped with Brembo M50 monobloc front calipers, a Sachs steering damper and sticky Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres, underlining the bike’s intent as a serious performance naked for both road and track use.

Electronics are predictably comprehensive. A 6-axis IMU governs cornering ABS with slide-by-brake function, Ducati Traction Control with predictive intervention, Wheelie Control, Engine Brake Control and the latest generation of bi-directional quickshifter. Riders can choose from multiple riding modes – typically Race, Sport, Road and Wet – each configurable via a 5.0-inch TFT display that also offers different layout themes for street and track riding.

Visually, the 2025 Ducati Streetfighter V2 stays true to Ducati’s aggressive naked-bike language. The sharp LED headlamp with DRL, muscular fuel tank and high tail section highlight the compact new V2 engine and push the mass visually towards the front, giving the bike a forward-attacking stance. Dual under-seat exhausts and a neatly sculpted tail pay homage to classic Ducati superbikes while keeping the overall silhouette modern and purposeful.
