The 2025 Honda SP160 is Now Available in Two Variants with Additional Features

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the 2025 Honda SP160, a motorcycle designed to meet future emission standards while offering new features. With a starting price of Rs 1.22 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the SP160 aims to shake up the 160cc premium commuter market.

The 2025 Honda SP160 comes in two models: the single-disc version priced at Rs 1.22 lakh and the dual-disc version at Rs 1.28 lakh, both priced ex-showroom in Delhi. The slight price increase from the previous model reflects the addition of new features and compliance with stricter emission norms.

2025 Honda SP160: Design and Features

The 2025 Honda SP160 maintains its strong and sporty look, enhanced by a sharper LED headlamp for a modern touch. The overall body design remains similar, featuring a muscular fuel tank, side shrouds, an undercowl, a chrome exhaust cover, and an LED taillight. Riders can choose from four appealing colors: Radiant Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, and Athletic Blue Metallic.

A key highlight of the 2025 SP160 is its new 4.2-inch TFT dashboard with Bluetooth. This display, first seen on the Honda Activa 125, offers features like real-time navigation, call and SMS notifications, and music playback via the Honda RoadSync app. The motorcycle also includes Type-C USB charging to keep devices powered while riding.

2025 Honda SP160: Engine and Performance

At the core of the 2025 Honda SP160 is a 162.71 cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine. This engine meets OBD2B regulations, preparing it for future emission requirements. It generates 13 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 14.8 Nm of torque at 5,250 rpm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The bike offers a comfortable ride, thanks to telescopic front forks and a monoshock rear suspension. It features disc brakes at both ends, with single-channel ABS for added safety and control.
