2025 KTM 250 Adventure Comes with Duke’s Trusted 250cc Engine
KTM has recently launched the 2025 KTM 250 Adventure in India, making it the most affordable adventure bike in the Austrian company’s lineup. Priced at Rs. 2.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), this quarter-litre motorcycle packs a punch with its impressive features and performance. With the latest generation update, the price of the KTM 250 Adventure has increased by nearly Rs. 13,000.

2025 KTM 250 Adventure Design and Features
The 2025 KTM 250 Adventure shares its underpinnings with the more powerful KTM 390 Adventure. It utilizes the same steel trellis frame, along with a separate subframe. The styling is identical to the 390 Adventure, with the only differences being the paint schemes and decals. This gives the 250 Adventure a rugged and modern appearance, appealing to adventure bike enthusiasts.
The suspension duties on the 250 Adventure are handled by non-adjustable WP Apex USD forks at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. This setup offers wheel travel of 200mm at the front and 205mm at the rear, making it a capable off-road motorcycle. The bike also features a high ground clearance of 227mm and a seat height of 825mm, providing a comfortable riding position. The fuel tank capacity stands at 14.5 liters, and the bike has a kerb weight of 177kg.

KTM has equipped the 250 Adventure with a host of modern features to enhance the riding experience. Some of the notable features include an LED projector headlamp, a five-inch H50 TFT color display with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, ride-by-wire throttle, a bi-directional quickshifter, and off-road ABS. Additionally, the bike comes with LED lighting all around, ensuring visibility in various conditions.

2025 KTM 250 Adventure Engine
Powering the updated KTM 250 Adventure is a new 249cc, liquid-cooled engine. This engine produces an impressive 30.5 bhp at 9,250 rpm and a peak torque of 25 Nm at 7,250 rpm. Paired with a six-speed transmission, this engine is known for its refinement, tractability, and punchy mid-range performance. This makes the bike suitable for both on-road and off-road adventures.
