The LX 500d is available in two variants – the Urban and the Overtrail editions. While the Urban variant focuses on city driving and aesthetics, the Overtrail variant is designed for off-road enthusiasts with additional features tailored for rugged terrains. The Overtrail variant comes at a premium of Rs 12 lakh over the standard Urban variant.

2025 Lexus LX 500d Exterior Design
The Lexus LX 500d boasts a tall and commanding stance, thanks to its ladder-frame construction. The front end is dominated by the distinctive Lexus spindle grille, flanked by large, angular headlights with L-shaped LED signatures. The lower half of the fascia features enormous vertically oriented air intakes. The side profile is marked by a massive glass area and 22-inch alloy wheels, while the rear is characterized by large connected tail-lamps and chunky cladding.
The Overtrail variant differs from the Urban variant with blacked-out elements replacing chrome trims, smaller 18-inch matte grey aluminum wheels with higher-profile tires, and an exclusive ‘Moon Desert’ color option.

2025 Lexus LX 500d Interior and Features
The interior of the LX 500d is a showcase of luxury and advanced technology. Buyers have the option to choose between tan or crimson leather upholstery. The center console houses a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 7-inch drive-mode display, HVAC vents, and controls. The steering wheel is equipped with paddle shifters, and the instrument cluster features an 8-inch MID display and a heads-up display.

Under the hood, the LX 500d is powered by a 3.3-litre twin-turbo diesel V6 engine that generates 304hp and 700Nm of torque, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The SUV features all-wheel drive, active height control, a standard center differential lock, and adaptive suspension. The Overtrail variant further includes front and rear differential locks.
The LX 500d offers five drive modes: Normal, Eco, Comfort, Sport S, and Sport S+, along with a Custom mode that allows owners to tweak settings according to their preferences.
