2025 Toyota Camry Sedan Launched at Rs 48 Lakh

The 2025 Toyota Camry is available in one version, but it comes with a whole new look and various added features.

The latest Toyota Camry, now in its ninth generation, has hit the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 48 lakh (ex-showroom). This new model will come in a single variant and, similar to the older one, will have just one hybrid powertrain option. Essentially, it’s a significantly upgraded version of the previous model that’s based on the same platform. Toyota has announced that deliveries of the new Camry will start right away.

2025 Toyota Camry Exterior Design

The 2025 Toyota Camry, part of the ninth generation, is constructed on the TNGA-K platform. When it comes to design updates, this new Camry showcases significant differences from its predecessor. Notably, it boasts a wider grille that links the headlights and more angular headlamps, complemented by fresh LED Daytime Running Lamps. You’ll notice that the ‘T’ logo has been raised compared to the previous model.

If you look at the back, a touch of Lexus influence is evident with a pair of wraparound ‘C ’-shaped LED tail lamps. Moving to the sides, you’ll find a new pair of dual-tone 18-inch wheels. The latest Camry shares almost the same size as the previous version. It is 4915 mm long, 1839 mm wide, stands 1445 mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2825 mm.

2025 Toyota Camry Interior, Features

The new Camry comes with some cool features inside. It has a large 12.3-inch touchscreen for infotainment that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You also get a 7-inch fully digital instrument cluster, a 10-inch head-up display, and a digital key feature. Plus, the sedan offers a nine-speaker JBL sound system, three-zone climate control, an electric sunroof, ventilated seats, 10-way adjustable seats for the driver and passenger, a rear armrest with touch control switches, a reclining rear seat, a wireless charging pad.

When it comes to safety, the car is packed with Level 2 ADAS (Toyota Safety Sense 3.0). This system includes pre-collision assistance with pedestrian detection, radar-based cruise control, lane tracing assistance, and road sign assistance. It also has automatic high beams to improve visibility at night. Moreover, the car is equipped with 9 airbags, parking sensors at the front and back, an electronic parking brake, and a 360-degree camera for added safety.

2025 Toyota Camry Powertrain

In terms of its powertrain, the new Camry comes with a robust hybrid system, just like the older version. It includes a 2.5-liter engine combined with Toyota’s latest Hybrid System (THS 5) electric motor. This setup produces a total power of approximately 227 bhp, which is around 12 bhp more than the previous model. The peak torque reaches 220 Nm, and the Camry is available with an eCVT gearbox.
