BMW Motorrad unveils striking new colour options for the 2026 BMW R 1300 GS in the U.S. market. Racing Red & Imperial Blue Join the Lineup.
The BMW R 1300 GS, the top adventure bike from BMW Motorrad, has a fresh look for 2026. Its engine stays the same, but it now comes in two new colors for the U.S. market. Racing Red replaces the old Light White shade and makes a bold new statement.
The other new color is Option 719 Imperial Blue Metallic, taking the place of the previous Aurelius Green. These new shades join the existing Style Triple Black and GS Trophy Racing Blue Metallic, giving riders more options.

Engine & Hardware
BMW has kept the soul of the R 1300 GS intact, even with its updated color scheme. The bike still boasts a powerful 1,300cc twin-cylinder engine delivering 145 horsepower at 7,750 rpm and 149 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.

Its frame is made from an aluminium subframe and sheet metal mainframe, providing strength and lightness. The suspension system features BMW’s unique Telelever and Paralever designs for smooth handling. The bike also comes equipped with modern electronics, including traction control, switchable ABS, radar-based cruise control, and several riding modes.

BMW Motorrad India is expected to bring these colour options soon. Currently, Indian enthusiasts can access only the Pro variant, priced at Rs 21.20 lakh (ex-showroom). With a growing community of premium adventure riders, especially in metros like Bengaluru and Pune, this style update could reignite interest ahead of the festive season.
