The 2026 Nissan Micra is mainly a hatchback, but it takes some cues from SUVs to boost its style. It features shiny black cladding around the bumpers and wheel arches. The car has 18-inch wheels that help improve stability and give it a stronger look. It offers 14 exterior colors, including popular dual-tone options.

Electric Powertrain & Performance
The Micra is built on the AmpR Small platform (CMF-BEV), offering two powertrain options:
- Entry-Level Variant – 121 HP motor with a 40 kWh battery, delivering a range of 310 KM (WLTP).
- Upgraded Model – 148 HP motor with a 52 kWh battery, extending the range to 408 KM (WLTP).
With fast-charging capabilities, the Micra can recharge 15-80% in just 30 minutes using a 100 kW DC charger. Additionally, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology allows owners to power external devices using the car’s battery, adding another layer of utility.
Nissan highlights its leading driving performance, which comes from better weight balance and a special suspension setup. The car’s rear uses a multi-link suspension, making handling smoother. Its low center of gravity helps it stay stable at all speeds. These features together give the car excellent handling and easier city driving.

Expected Pricing & Indian Availability
While official pricing is yet to be announced, the 2026 Nissan Micra EV will likely be positioned as a premium alternative to Renault’s 5 E-Tech, which starts at approximately Rs 22 lakh
