Vespa has refreshed its iconic Primavera & Sprint S scooters for 2026, unveiling the updated 125cc and 150cc models overseas. The most significant change comes in the braking department. The 2026 Vespa 125cc and 150cc variants now feature a 220mm rear disc with a dual-piston calliper, replacing the traditional drum setup. Combined with the front disc and ABS.

Convenience has also taken a leap forward. Barring the entry-level 50cc, the higher displacement models now come equipped with a keyless system. This smart fob allows ignition, seat access, and even vehicle location functions, making everyday use more seamless. Vespa has also introduced new 12-inch alloy wheels with a fresh five-spoke design, adding to the scooters’ visual appeal.

The Sprint S stands out with a sportier side grille on the left fairing, while the Primavera receives subtle refinements to its mudguard crest and front tie panel. Updated seat upholstery further enhances comfort and aesthetics. Inside the cockpit, riders will now find a fully digital LCD instrument cluster, offering ride data, smartphone connectivity for calls, music, and navigation prompts. The top-spec Primavera Tech continues to boast a 5-inch TFT display for a more premium experience.
Powertrain options remain diverse, with fuel-injected, 3-valve petrol engines available in 50cc, 125cc, and 150cc forms, alongside Vespa’s electric offerings. The Primavera and Sprint S continue to target youthful, urban riders who value both style and practicality.
While these updates have been rolled out globally, Piaggio has yet to confirm whether the refreshed models will make their way to India. Given Vespa’s strong following in the premium scooter segment, enthusiasts will be watching closely for any announcement.
