Kia Sonet Facelift Hits 1 Lakh Sales: Sunroof Preferred by 4 Out of 5 Customers
The Kia Sonet Facelift has been a remarkable success story since its launch in January 2024. Within just 11 months, the subcompact SUV has achieved a significant milestone, crossing the 1 lakh sales mark. This achievement underscores the popularity and appeal of the Sonet Facelift in the competitive automotive market.

Kia Sonet Facelift Sales Performance
Kia’s understanding of customer needs has been vital to the success of the Sonet Facelift. In 2024, the company sold close to 10,000 units each month, showing a strong presence in the market. Petrol models made up 76% of the sales, while diesel variants accounted for 24%. The automatic and IMT gearbox options represented 34% of total sales, and 79% of buyers chose models with a sunroof.

The Kia Sonet Facelift continues to be a strong seller in its segment, thanks to its comprehensive feature set and competitive pricing. The vehicle offers the lowest maintenance cost in the segment, which is 16% and 14% lower than the segment average for petrol and diesel variants, respectively. This cost efficiency, combined with the vehicle’s advanced features, has made the Sonet Facelift a compelling choice for buyers.

Kia Sonet Facelift Key Features
The Kia Sonet is now on sale starting at Rs. 7.99 lakh. You can choose from different versions up to Rs. 15.75 lakh (ex-showroom). The car comes in various models like XTE, XTE (O) XTK, XTK (O) XTK Plus, and The Kia Sonet comes with a choice of 1 Diesel Engine and 2 Petrol Engines. The Diesel engine is 1493 cc, while the Petrol engines are 1197 cc and 998 cc. You can get it with Manual or Automatic transmission.
The model also boasts 15 safety features as standard, 10 Level 1 ADAS features, and over 70 connected car features. These features have significantly enhanced the value proposition of the Sonet Facelift, making it a preferred choice for many customers.
