Bajaj Pulsar N150 Discontinued in India: What Went Wrong?

Bajaj Pulsar N150 discontinued in India, the N150 replaced the P150 with a design inspired by the N160 and N250.

In a surprising move, Bajaj Auto has officially discontinued the Pulsar N150 from its lineup, quietly delisting the model from its official website. Introduced just two years ago, the N150 aimed to strike a balance between design and performance, combining the muscular aesthetics of the Pulsar N160 with the proven engine of the P150. But despite its strategic positioning, it failed to gain substantial traction in the market.

Why the Bajaj Pulsar N150 Discontinued

Underwhelming Sales Performance: Bajaj dealers confirmed that sales had halted months before the official delisting. Despite a strong launch, consumer interest in the N150 gradually dwindled.

Identity Overlap: Positioned between the classic Pulsar 150 and N160, the N150’s purpose wasn’t clearly differentiated, leading to customer confusion.

Market Shift: With consumers leaning towards higher-performance or more feature-rich models, the N150 couldn’t keep pace in a competitive segment dominated by Suzuki Gixxer SF, Yamaha FZS-FI, and Hero Xtreme.
