Bentley returns to pure-performance with the Bentley Continental GT Supersports — rear-wheel drive, 657 hp V8, limited to 500 units. Orders open March 2026.
Bentley has revealed the Continental GT Supersports, a sharply focused reinterpretation of its grand tourer that prioritises driver engagement over outright luxury. For the first time in a road-going Continental GT, Bentley has adopted a rear-wheel-drive layout and removed hybrid hardware to create a lighter, more responsive package aimed at enthusiasts.

At the heart of the Bentley Continental GT Supersports sits a new 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 that develops roughly 657 hp and 800 Nm, routed exclusively to the rear wheels through an updated eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Bentley says this concentrated setup delivers a 0–100 km/h time of about 3.7 seconds while still offering a top speed in the region of 310 km/h — figures that underline the model’s sporty intent rather than sheer straight-line dominance.

The exterior has been radically reworked with a comprehensive aero kit developed to generate significantly more downforce than the GT Speed. A large front splitter, carbon-fibre dive planes, reshaped sills and fender blades, a rear diffuser and a fixed wing work together to add more than 300 kg of downforce, according to Bentley, while a carbon-fibre roof and other lightweight components help keep the Supersports below a two-tonne gross weight. The result is a Continental that promises up to 1.3g of lateral grip and markedly sharper cornering.

Inside, Bentley strips back rear accommodation in favour of a two-seat layout with lower-set sports seats, carbon trim and a reduced level of sound insulation to save weight and heighten driver feel. and Bentley has tuned the cabin and audio for a front-focused, purist driving experience while retaining modern conveniences such as the brand’s touchscreen and digital instruments.
Production will be strictly limited to 500 examples worldwide, with orders opening in March 2026 and deliveries scheduled to begin in early 2027. Bentley says pricing will sit well above the current Continental GT Speed, reflecting the Supersports’ exclusivity and bespoke engineering.
