The 2025 Speed Twin 1200 models come with new instrumentation, transitioning from twin digi-analogue dials to a modern single TFT display. This display was first seen on the Trident 660 and later on the Speed Twin 900. Both models also feature a USB-C charging port as standard.

Triumph Speed Twin 1200 Engine and Performance

Both variants are powered by a 1,200cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. This engine has been upgraded with a new cam, a sportier tune, and a redline of 8,000 rpm. It delivers 103.5bhp at 7,750rpm and 112Nm of peak torque at 4,250rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox controlled by a slip-and-assist clutch. The RS variant also features a bidirectional quickshifter, making it the first Triumph neo-retro model to include this upgrade.

Triumph’s latest Speed Twin 1200 models bring significant updates and clear differentiation between the standard and RS variants. With their blend of classic styling, modern technology, and performance enhancements, the 2025 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 lineup is well-suited for riders looking for a big neo-retro roadster.
