New Bajaj Pulsar N160 Single-Seat Edition Launched: Sporty Design with Added Comfort

Bajaj has recently launched a new single seat variant of its popular Pulsar N160 motorcycle. This variant aims to cater to the needs of families and is priced approximately Rs 10,000 cheaper than the existing split seat standard base variant.

The ex-showroom price of the Bajaj Pulsar N160 single seat variant is Rs 1,23,000. In comparison, the base variant with dual channel ABS is priced at Rs 1,33,408 ex-showroom. The base variant with USD is priced at Rs 1,39,693 ex-showroom.

Pulsar N160 Single-Seat: Key Changes and Features

The most notable change in this variant is the single seat, which offers more comfort for both the rider and the pillion. The rear grab rail has been strengthened and replaced with a single piece grab rail, making it easier to accommodate more passengers.

The Pulsar N160 single seat variant is equipped with 37mm telescopic forks at the front and Nitrox monoshock suspension at the rear. It features 300mm disc brakes at the front and 230mm disc brakes at the rear. However, this variant comes with single channel ABS, unlike the dual channel ABS available in the standard base variant.

The Pulsar N160 single seat variant boasts a bi-functional LED projector headlamp with LED DRLs, a glitter pattern LED tail lamp, and halogen turn indicators. It also includes a digital console with Bluetooth, USB charging port, call/SMS alerts, and fuel alerts.

Pulsar N160 Single-Seat: Engine and Performance

The bike is powered by a 164.82cc single cylinder air-cooled engine that generates a maximum power of 16PS and a maximum torque of 14.65Nm. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox. The visual profile of this variant remains identical to the existing standard base variant, with no changes in color and graphics.
