The BSA Gold Star 650 has a cool vintage look and runs on a 652cc engine that delivers 45 bhp and 55 Nm torque.
BSA, a renowned heritage brand, has launched its BSA Gold Star 650 motorcycle in India, available for Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom). This popular motorcycle, favored in markets worldwide, is now available at specific Jawa/Yezdi stores across the country. BSA Motorcycles, a part of the Mahindra Group, has made a remarkable comeback in India. Their newest model, the Gold Star 650, mixing modern and retro designs, is now proudly manufactured in India.
The BSA Gold Star 650 model maintains the iconic style of the 1960s BSA Gold Star. The classic design in the round headlight shows the two analog gauges displaying speed and engine RPM, a fuel tank shaped like a teardrop with shiny chrome panels on the sides, curved fenders, and the prominent BSA logo. The classic look of this motorcycle is enhanced by its spoked wheels. The seat is positioned at a height of 780mm, and the fuel tank has a capacity of up to 12 liters.

The motorcycle comes with a telescopic fork in the front and twin shock absorbers in the back. It has a 320mm disc for braking in the front and a 250mm disc in the rear, both with dual-channel ABS. The Gold Star 650 comes in a few different colors. You can choose from Insignia Red and Highland Green for Rs 2.99 lakh, Midnight Black and Dawn Silver for Rs 3.12 lakh, or Shadow Black for Rs 3.15 lakh. These prices are for the ex-showroom.
BSA Gold Star 650 Engine
BSA has enhanced the Gold Star with some neat additions such as a semi-digital instrument cluster, a 12V charging socket, and a USB port. When you pop the hood, you’ll discover a powerful 652cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that delivers 45bhp at 6,500rpm and 55Nm at 4,000rpm. This engine is mated to a seamless five-speed gearbox. BSA states that the engine is fine-tuned for a large single and can push the bike to speeds over 160kmph.
