Honda’s E-Clutch Technology – What’s New?
One of the key highlights of the CB650R E-Clutch is the electronic clutch system that eliminates manual clutch operation, making gear shifts smoother and less tiring. Here’s how it works:
- Servo Motors: The system utilizes servo motors to engage and disengage the clutch automatically.
- Hands-Free Gear Shifts: Riders can shift gears without pulling the clutch lever, reducing fatigue during long rides.
- Manual Mode Option: Enthusiasts who prefer full control can disable the E-Clutch and switch to manual mode.
This technology is especially beneficial for urban riders who frequently encounter stop-and-go traffic.
