BMW Announces Price Adjustments for 2025: 3% Hike Across Models
BMW India recently revealed that they are raising the prices on all their cars in India starting January 1, 2025. The luxury car manufacturer from Germany stated that prices for both cars assembled in India and those imported will go up by as much as 3 percent. This means that BMW cars will see a price increase ranging from Rs 1.3 lakh to about 5.5 lakh for the ones made in India. On the other hand, the imported line-up will experience an even more significant price hike at the beginning of the new year.

BMW Models
In India, BMW puts together 10 models at their Chennai plant. These include 2 Series Gran Coupe, 3 Series Long Wheelbase, 5 Series Long Wheelbase, and 7 Series, as well as X1, X3, X5, X7, and the M340i. On the other hand, their range of completely built units (CBU) is even broader. It covers electric models such as i4, i5, i7, i7 M70, iX1, and iX, alongside high-performance M models like Z4 M40i, M2 Coupe, M4 Competition, M4 CS, M8 Competition Coupe, the flagship XM, and the recently introduced M5.

Just recently, BMW shared news about raising its prices, following a similar move by Mercedes-Benz India. Mercedes mentioned factors like rising material expenses, inflation, and other financial pressures as reasons for the increase. It’s likely that other luxury car brands will follow suit and announce price hikes for their vehicles soon.
