Brixton Crossfire 500X and 500XC Launched: Prices Start at Rs 4.75 Lakh

The Brixton Crossfire 500X is priced at Rs. 4.74 lakh, and you can get the Brixton Crossfire 500XC for just Rs. 5.19 lakh.

Brixton introduced new motorcycle models in India, and they are quite budget-friendly. Among them, the Brixton Crossfire 500X offers a contemporary take on a traditional roadster at a price of Rs 4.74 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Crossfire 500XC is priced at Rs 5.19 lakh (ex-showroom). Initially, these new models will arrive as completely knocked-down (CKD) units and will be assembled at Brixton’s state-of-the-art facility in Kolhapur. Brixton plans to begin local production in India shortly to secure a more solid position in the market. The delivery of these fresh bikes is set to commence in January 2025.

Brixton Crossfire 500X and 500XC: Design, Features

The Crossfire 500X comes with a cool café racer look, keeping it simple with a round headlight, a slim classic single seat, and spoked wheels, making it a great choice for city and highway cruising. On the other hand, the Crossfire 500XC sports a scrambler style, sporting a beak-shaped front mudguard, a metal windshield, and number boards on the side. The 500X rides on 17-inch wheels front and back, while the 500XC has a larger 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel. Both bikes come equipped with tubeless tires for a smooth ride.

The 500X and 500XC have suspension systems that use an upside-down fork at the front and a rear monoshock, adjustable for preload and rebound, from KYB. Braking is taken care of by a 320 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc on both bikes, with dual-channel ABS for added safety. The 500X weighs 190 kg, which is 5 kg more than the 500XC. If you’re looking at seat height, the 500X stands at 795 mm, while the XC model is higher at 839 mm. You can choose between two colors for the Crossfire 500X: Backstage Black or Bullet Silver. If you’re looking at the 500 XC, it’s only available in Dessert Gold.

Brixton Crossfire 500X and 500XC: Engine

The Brixton Crossfire 500X and 500XC feature a 486cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. This engine delivers approximately 47bhp at 8,500rpm and 43Nm of peak torque at 6,750rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox. The claimed fuel consumption stands at 25 kmpl, but the actual performance in real-world conditions is still unknown.
