After being on the market for a while, both the Citroen C3 hatchback and the C3 Aircross SUV have recently received significant upgrades. The new versions come with extra comfort, convenience, and safety features, some of which are shared with the newly revealed Citroen Basalt SUV coupe.
The latest models now include features that were greatly missed since they first went on sale. These updated versions are set to hit the market in the next few weeks, but the additional features might lead to a significant price hike.
Citroen C3 and C3 Aircross Features
The latest Citroen models have kept their look on the outside, yet they now come with LED projector headlights, taking the place of the older halogen ones. The side mirrors now have turn indicators built-in, and the front fenders, where the indicators were, now sport a new Citroen badge. What’s more, these cars have been upgraded with a rear windshield wiper that includes a washer for improved functionality.

The dashboard inside looks familiar, but in the C3, there’s a fresh 7-inch driver’s display, inspired by the C3 Aircross SUV. New features include automatic AC and relocated power window controls on the door panels with electronic adjustment. Yet, they haven’t added a push-button start-stop feature on either Citroen model.
Both models still include cool features like a 10.2-inch touchscreen for entertainment with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. You can easily control the audio from the steering wheel, and adjust the driver’s seat height. Additionally, the SUV has AC vents on the roof for the passengers in the back seat.

Citroen has made sure to prioritize your safety. They have enhanced safety measures by including six airbags as a standard feature, a hill hold assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and a rear parking camera in both models.
