Unlike its predecessor, the Ducati XDiavel 1260, the latest XDiavel V4 carries forward Ducati’s modern performance ethos while blending in classic cruiser ergonomics. At first glance, the V4 model clearly draws its mechanical foundation from the powerful Diavel V4, sharing the same 1,158 cc Granturismo V4 engine. This potent powerplant produces around 168 hp and 126 Nm of torque, ensuring it delivers both straight-line thrust and effortless rolling power that cruiser riders crave.

What sets the Ducati XDiavel V4 apart is its relaxed riding stance. The bike’s rider triangle has been thoughtfully revised, with forward-set footpegs and a swept-back handlebar that promote a laid-back posture, perfect for long highway runs. Ducati has also worked on the pillion seat, making it wider and more comfortable than before, catering to rider and passenger comfort alike.

The new model sits slightly lower to the ground compared to its Diavel sibling, with a seat height of 770 mm, which is around 20 mm less. Despite this, it tips the scales at around 226 kg (dry) — about 6 kg more than the Diavel V4, owing to its relaxed cruiser setup.

On the technology front, the Ducati XDiavel V4 is well-equipped. A 6.9-inch TFT display takes centre stage, shared with Ducati’s flagship models like the Panigale V4 and Streetfighter V4. This screen supports a modern interface that enhances connectivity and readability on the move.

The cruiser also benefits from a comprehensive electronics suite that’s expected to include advanced rider aids such as multiple riding modes, traction control, cornering ABS, wheelie control, launch control and cruise control — features that blend performance with usability on diverse road conditions.
