Hero Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition Priced at Rs 3,000 More
Hero MotoCorp has recently unveiled the Hero XPulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition in the Indian market, with a price tag of Rs 1.67 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This special edition model is derived from the existing XPulse 200 4V Pro and incorporates a range of thrilling enhancements, including a distinctive Dakar-inspired visual scheme.
Hero MotoCorp has announced that bookings for the highly anticipated XPulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition will commence on December 18, 2024. This special edition model commands a slight price increase of Rs 3,000 compared to the standard Pro variant. Deliveries of the Dakar Edition are anticipated to commence within a few weeks of the opening of the booking window.

The Hero XPulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition boasts distinctive features and upgrades. The motorcycle showcases a fresh Dakar emblem on its fuel tank, accompanied by a silhouette of a bike navigating dunes and geographical coordinates. The side and rear panels are embellished with new graphics, conveying a robust and adventurous aesthetic.
The motorcycle boasts an adjustable front suspension offering 250 mm of travel, enhancing its maneuverability and rider comfort when navigating challenging off-road conditions. Featuring a generous ground clearance of 270 mm, the XPulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition is ideally designed for tackling demanding off-road expeditions.

Enhanced rider comfort is achieved through updated ergonomics, featuring a raised handlebar for a more upright and relaxed standing riding position. Maintaining its versatility, the bike continues to roll on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoked wheels, shod with dual-purpose tires that effortlessly handle both paved and unpaved terrains.
This motorcycle incorporates an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and provides riders with three selectable riding modes: Road, Off-Road, and Rally, enhancing its adaptability to various terrains. The bike is equipped with a rally-inspired windscreen and innovative closed-loop knuckle guards for enhanced rider protection. A convenient USB charging port is integrated, enabling riders to keep their electronic devices charged during their journeys.

The Hero XPulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition is equipped with a 199.6cc single-cylinder motor generating 18.9 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and a maximum torque output of 17.35 Nm at 6,500 rpm. This engine is mated to a five-speed transmission, delivering a smooth and agile riding experience.
