Honda CB1000 Hornet SP Unveiled with 1000cc Inline-Four Engine, 5-Inch TFT Display & 5 Riding Modes.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has officially launched the CB1000 Hornet SP, a high-performance super-naked bike, in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 12.36 lakh. With this launch, Honda reinforces its commitment to delivering world-class motorcycles to Indian enthusiasts, following the recent debut of the X-ADV 750. Honda has officially opened bookings for the CB1000 Hornet SP, with deliveries expected to commence from June 2025.

Engine & Performance
At the heart of the CB1000 Hornet SP lies a 1000 cc inline-four liquid-cooled engine, producing an impressive 157 bhp at 11,000 rpm and 107 Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm. Paired with a six-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quickshifter, this superbike ensures seamless power delivery, making it a compelling choice for adrenaline seekers.

Honda CB1000 Hornet SP: Design and Features
Honda has equipped the CB1000 Hornet SP with five riding modes—Sport, Standard, Rain, and two customizable user modes—enhancing its adaptability across different conditions. The motorcycle also boasts Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), dual-channel ABS, and a 5-inch TFT dashboard with Bluetooth connectivity, elevating the riding experience. The motorcycle’s 212 kg weight and 17-liter fuel tank capacity make it an ideal option for long-distance touring as well as spirited riding.

Built to impress, the CB1000 Hornet SP comes with Matte Ballistic Black Metallic as its sole color option. It features 41 mm Showa USD forks and an Ohlins monoshock, both fully adjustable, ensuring superior ride quality. Braking duties are handled by 310 mm front discs with Nissin radial-mounted four-piston calipers and a 240 mm rear disc with a single Nissin piston caliper, providing excellent stopping power.
