Honda Elevate Automatic Variants Get Costlier, Honda City Range Sees a Jump,

Honda has raised the prices of the City sedan and automatic versions of the Honda Elevate SUV by Rs 20,000 due to increasing input costs. This change is effective immediately.

The price increase for the Honda City affects all models. The top model, the City pure petrol ZX CVT automatic, is now priced at Rs 16.55 lakh. Meanwhile, the City strong hybrid petrol has a price tag of Rs 20.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Honda City offers two petrol engine options. The hybrid variant uses a 1.5-litre Atkinson Cycle engine combined with an electric motor, producing 126hp. This model is unique in its segment with no direct competitors, balancing performance and fuel efficiency. The petrol-only version features a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine and competes with models like the Skoda Slavia, Hyundai Verna, and Volkswagen Virtus.

Honda Elevate Price Hike

The Honda Elevate SUV has also increased in price. The Elevate V CVT is now priced at Rs 13.91 lakh, the VX CVT at Rs 15.30 lakh, and the top-level ZX CVT at Rs 16.63 lakh, all ex-showroom. This price rise applies only to automatic variants, while manual versions remain the same.

The Elevate is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that delivers 119 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT. Depending on the variant, the Elevate achieves mileage between 15.31 to 16.92 kmpl.

Honda’s decision to increase prices reflects the ongoing difficulties faced by car manufacturers due to rising costs.
