Honda Gold Wing Tour motorcycles produced from March 2018 to May 2021 have been impacted.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has decided to recall the GL1800 Gold Wing tourer in India. The reason for this voluntary recall is a problem with the drive gear fastening bolt in specific engines. While the exact number of bikes impacted has not been disclosed, the recall pertains to Honda Gold Wings produced from March 2018 to May 2021.
The problem arises from a possible flaw in the bolt that secures the main drive gear in certain engines. In some situations, this bolt might break, leading to engine issues and potentially causing the engine to stop suddenly.
