In 2024, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) reached a notable achievement by selling 58,01,498 units. This total comprises 52,92,976 units sold in India and 5,08,522 units exported, showing a 32.08% increase from 2023. Honda Motorcycle December 2024 Sales Overview

In December 2024, Honda’s sales totaled 3,08,083 units, with domestic sales at 2,70,919 units and exports at 37,164 units. However, this reflects a drop of 2.85% from December 2023, resulting in 9,040 fewer units sold. There was also a significant 34.83% decline in sales compared to November 2024, indicating seasonal effects.

Q4 2024 Summary: A Busy Quarter for Honda

During the fourth quarter of 2024, Honda sold 13,78,543 units, showing a 9.59% year-over-year growth. Domestic sales accounted for 12,56,927 units, which is 91.18% of the total for the quarter. Export figures rose to 1,21,616 units, marking a 37.68% increase, emphasizing Honda’s strength in both local and international markets.

Honda Motorcycle Key Milestones and Achievements

Honda celebrated reaching 6 crore units in domestic sales since June 2001. In Eastern India, 30 lakh customers chose the Shine and SP125 models, while Southern India saw 10 million Activa customers. These achievements underline Honda’s focus on regional development.

Introducing Electric Models: Activa e: and QC1

Honda launched the Activa e: and QC1 electric scooters, with bookings starting on January 1, 2025, and deliveries planned for February 2025. The pricing will be announced at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. Additionally, Honda added the NX500 Adventure Tourer to its BigWing premium lineup and introduced the CB300F Flex-Fuel, India’s first 300cc flex-fuel motorcycle, highlighting Honda’s commitment to alternative fuel technology.
