Honda QC1 Electric Scooter Launched at Rs 90,000 in Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025

The Honda QC1 Electric Scooter runs on a 1.5kWh battery and boasts an 80km claimed range.

The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 witnessed the grand unveiling of Honda’s latest offering in the electric scooter segment, the Honda QC1 Electric Scooter. Priced at an attractive Rs 90,000 ex-showroom, this scooter is set to hit the roads in February 2025. Initially, it will be available in six major cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh. Bookings are now open in these cities with a token amount of Rs 1,000.

Honda QC1: Design, Specs

Honda has opted for a straightforward design with the QC1. The sleek and family-friendly look with minimal details appeals to mature buyers. The QC1 features a slim body, all LED lights, stylish body-colored mirrors, a convenient cubby holder, and a flat floorboard. You can choose from five elegant colors: Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Misty White, Pearl Serenity Blue, Pearl Shallow Blue, and Matt Foggy Silver Metallic.

The vehicle is constructed with an underbone frame design, sporting 12-inch front black alloy wheels, and 10-inch rear wheels. It has drum brakes – 130 mm for the front and 110 mm for the rear. The front suspension utilizes telescopic technology, while the rear boasts a 5-step adjustable hydraulic system. The dimensions of this vehicle are 1820 mm long, 701 mm wide, and 1129 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 1275 mm and a ground clearance of 169 mm. It weighs 89.5 kg and has a seat length of 704 mm.

Honda QC1: Key Features

LED headlights, taillights, and turn signals provide the lighting for you. The QC1 also comes with a dashboard that has a 5-inch LCD screen with 450 nits brightness. This dashboard offers you two riding modes: Economy and Standard, and comes with a side stand inhibitor. In terms of storage, the scooter provides a 26-liter boot space and a 1.45-liter glove box. It also features a USB type-C charging port for your convenience.

Honda QC1: Powertrain, Battery Pack

The Honda QC1 runs on a single 1.5kWh lithium-ion battery that’s both water and dust resistant, rated at IP67 for durability. This compact battery fuels a BLDC motor mounted on the hub, delivering 1.8kW (2.4hp) at its peak and 77Nm of torque. It can reach a top speed of 50kph and go from 0 to 40kph in just 9.7 seconds.

The Scooter comes with a claimed IDC range of 80km. A full charge can take quite a while, precisely 6 hours and 50 minutes, thanks to the 330-watt charger included with the QC1. However, if you charge it from empty to 80 percent SOC, the time reduces to 4 hours and 30 minutes. This vehicle features CAN-controlled auto-cut technology to enhance charging efficiency. The vehicle comes with a warranty of 3 years or 50,000 km for the vehicle, charger, and battery.
