Hyundai Venue earns a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating, outperforming rivals with top scores in adult and child occupant protection.
Hyundai’s popular compact SUV, the Venue, has achieved a landmark milestone by securing a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP, making it one of the safest vehicles in its segment. The Venue is Hyundai’s second model to undergo Bharat NCAP crash testing, following the Tucson. Impressively, the SUV scored 31.15 out of 32 points in adult occupant protection (AOP) and 44.46 out of 49 points in child occupant protection (COP).

Crash Test Highlights
In the frontal offset deformable barrier test, the Venue offered ‘good’ protection to the driver’s head, neck, pelvis, thighs, and feet, while chest and tibiae protection was rated ‘adequate’. The co-driver’s critical body parts also received ‘good’ protection, with tibiae marked as ‘adequate’.
The side impact tests were equally impressive, with the Venue scoring full marks by offering ‘good’ protection to all body regions. Even in the demanding side pole impact test, the SUV maintained its high safety standards.

Child Safety Excellence
For child occupant protection, the Venue excelled with near-perfect scores. The SUV achieved 23.46 out of 24 in dynamic testing, full marks in CRS installation, and strong results in frontal and side crash tests for both 18-month-old and 3-year-old dummies.
Standard Safety Kit
Hyundai ensures that safety is not limited to select trims. The 5-star rating applies across all Venue variants, including the sporty N Line models. Standard equipment includes six airbags, tyre-pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ISOFIX child-seat mounts, rear parking sensors, and hill-start assist. Higher trims add advanced features such as Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, and electronic parking brake with auto-hold.
