The Jawa 42 FJ will now come equipped with the same engine found in the Jawa 350
Following the recent release of the updated 42 model last month, Jawa-Yezdi Motorcycles has unveiled a new addition known as the Jawa 42 FJ. This fresh model joins the 42 lineup and comes at a price that is Rs 26,000 higher than the standard Jawa 42. The Jawa 42 FJ is priced between 1.99 lakh to Rs 2.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
Jawa 42 FJ 350: Features
The Jawa 42 FJ 350 boasts a more daring appearance than the standard 42 model. A key highlight is the LED headlamp, a semi digital instrument console, USB charging port, sleek brushed aluminum finish on the tank cladding, accented by eye-catching ‘Jawa’ lettering. Although the side panels and fenders stay the same as the regular version, the seat layout and handlebar placement have been updated. These changes result in a more specialized riding stance with improved comfort for you as the rider.

Moreover, you have the option to choose between spoked or alloy wheels. The alloy wheels match those featured on the 42 Bobber model. The twin exhausts now sport a slightly upturned style, along with a fuel tank cap that is slightly off-center. Standard features include dual-channel ABS, and there is no single-channel ABS version available. Furthermore, the 42 FJ stands a bit taller at 790 mm compared to the smaller 42 model.
The 42 FJ comes in different colors like Cosmo Matte Blue, Aurora Matte Green, Mystique Green, Deep Matte Black, and Deep Matte Black with Red accents. The basic model, which comes in Aurora Matte Green, stands out with spoke wheels, while the rest of the models boast alloy wheels. The 42 FJ has a seat height of 800mm, 178mm ground clearance, and a weight of 194kg.

Jawa 42 FJ 350: Engine
The Jawa 42 FJ now features a better 334 cc engine from the brand. In the Jawa 42 models, you will have the choice between the 293 cc and the 334 cc engines. The 334 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine delivers 21.45 bhp and 29.62 Nm of torque, coupled with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.
