Jeep Wrangler Willys ’41 Special Edition Returns to India at Rs 70.31 Lakh

Jeep reintroduces the limited-run Wrangler Willys ’41 Special Edition in India with updated pricing and exclusive heritage detailing.

Jeep has once again brought the Wrangler Willys ’41 Special Edition to Indian showrooms, making it a rare opportunity for enthusiasts and collectors alike. This time, the iconic off-roader returns with a revised price tag, refreshed features, and a slightly larger allocation — but still remains extremely exclusive.

For the 2026 model year, Jeep has priced the Wrangler Willys ’41 Special Edition at ₹70.31 lakh (ex-showroom, India), which is about ₹3 lakh less than the original launch price. Unlike last year’s brief release of just 30 units that sold out quickly, the new batch sees 41 units available nationwide, paying tribute to the name and its historic inspiration.

The Willys ’41 edition is based on the top-spec Rubicon variant of the Wrangler and continues to prioritise style and exclusivity over mechanical tweaks. Its design is deeply rooted in Jeep’s heritage, drawing inspiration from the original 1941 Willys MB military Jeep — an icon of durability and rugged capability.

One of the most striking elements of the Willys ’41 Special Edition is its heritage-inspired exterior. The SUV can be ordered in a distinctive “41 Green” paint finish, a shade reminiscent of military green, complete with a bold “1941” hood decal that highlights the year the first Willys MB went into production. In addition to the exclusive green shade, buyers can opt for other classic colours such as white, red, black and blue.

Beyond its looks, the Willys ’41 edition also offers several standard upgrade accessories worth around ₹2 lakh. These include motorised side steps, new interior grab handles, all-weather floor mats, and front and rear dashcams. For those seeking even more adventure-ready hardware, Jeep has optional extras on offer — including a roof carrier with an integrated side ladder and a Sunrider rooftop.

Under the bonnet, there are no changes to the tried-and-tested powertrain. The Willys ’41 Special Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces around 270hp and 400Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and a full-time 4×4 system — a setup that’s well-suited for both on-road cruising and serious off-road adventures.
