Kia Syros HTK (EX) Trim Launched at Rs 9.89 Lakh

Kia India launched a new Kia Syros HTK (EX) trim, offering LED lights, a bigger screen, a sunroof and enhanced features from ₹9.89 lakh.

Kia India has expanded the Syros sub-compact SUV line-up with a new mid-spec Kia Syros HTK (EX) trim, priced at ₹9.89 lakh (ex-showroom) for the petrol and ₹10.64 lakh (ex-showroom) for the diesel version. This addition strengthens the variant portfolio and brings several desirable features into a more accessible price bracket, positioning the HTK (EX) between the existing HTK (O) and HTK+ trims.

What sets the new Kia Syros HTK (EX) trim apart is its ability to bring premium-leaning equipment to a mid-tier variant. For the first time in this price bracket on the Syros, customers get all-LED exterior lighting, including LED headlights, LED daytime running lights (DRLs) and LED tail-lights, features that were earlier reserved for the higher HTX trims.

Inside, the Kia Syros HTK (EX) benefits from a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, bringing a larger and more engaging interface to passengers. Also included are six speakers, a semi-digital driver’s display and a single-pane sunroof, which enhances cabin ambience and gives the Syros an open, airy feel that appeals to SUV buyers seeking both style and practicality.

Comfort and convenience are further boosted with features such as manual air-conditioning with rear vents, rear parking camera, and powered outside rear-view mirrors (ORVMs) with auto-fold and integrated LED turn indicators. These additions make the HTK (EX) a well-rounded option for customers who want strong feature content without having to jump to the upper trims.

On the safety front, Kia has not held back. The HTK (EX) trim comes standard with six airbags, tyre-pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill-start assist, front and rear parking sensors and ISOFIX child seat anchorages, ensuring that fundamental safety equipment is part of the package. This aligns with Syros’ broader positioning as a feature-rich compact SUV.

The new variant doesn’t introduce changes to the powertrain. Buyers can choose between Kia’s familiar 1.0-litre 120 hp turbo-petrol engine and the 1.5-litre diesel unit with 116 hp, both paired exclusively with a manual gearbox in this trim. These engines are known for their balance of performance and efficiency in everyday use, making the Kia Syros HTK (EX) a practical choice for city and highway driving alike.
