Kia has not yet announced the prices for the Syros, but they are expected to range from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 16 lakh, ex-showroom. The Syros will be available in six trims: HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and HTX+(O). Buyers can choose from eight colors: Frost Blue, Glacier White Pearl, Sparkling Silver, Intense Red, Imperial Blue, Pewter Olive, Gravity Grey, and Aurora Black Pearl.
The Kylaq is Skoda’s first SUV under 4 meters and is the most affordable model in their lineup, starting at Rs 7.89 lakh. It will come in four variants: Classic, Signature, Signature Plus, and Prestige. All variants, except the base model, will offer both manual and automatic transmission options. The Kylaq will be available in seven colors: Tornado Red, Brilliant Silver, Candy White, Carbon Steel, Lava Blue, Deep Black, and the exclusive Olive Gold.

Both the Kia Syros and Skoda Kylaq measure 3,995 mm in length, making them compact and easy to maneuver in urban settings. However, the Kia Syros is slightly wider at 1,805 mm compared to the Skoda Kylaq’s 1,783 mm. This extra width provides a bit more interior space for passengers. In terms of height, the Kia Syros stands taller at 1,680 mm, while the Skoda Kylaq measures 1,619 mm. The wheelbase of the Kia Syros is 2,550 mm, which is 16 mm shorter than the Skoda Kylaq’s 2,566 mm. The Kia Syros includes several first-in-class features. It has six parking sensors, including side sensors, flush door handles, and a large 30-inch display that combines the infotainment system, instrument cluster, and climate controls. The vehicle also enables over-the-air updates. A key highlight is the adaptable rear bench, which can recline, slide, and split in a 60:40 configuration. While the rear seat cushion is ventilated, the backrest does not have this feature. For driver comfort, the Syros offers a 4-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, enhancing long-distance driving.
Built on the MQB-A0-IN platform, like the Slavia and Kushaq, the Kylaq is expected to achieve a 5-star safety rating in crash tests. The top model is equipped with numerous features, including all-LED lighting, 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-tone interiors, and armrests in both front and rear. Inside, it features an 8-inch digital display for the driver, wireless phone charging, front-ventilated seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a single-panel sunroof. The 10.1-inch infotainment system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Kylaq is also the first SUV in its category to offer 6-way electrically adjustable front seats, including for the passenger.

Kia Syros vs Skoda Kylaq: Engine Specifications
The Kia Syros comes with two engine options: a 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5-liter diesel motor. The petrol engine is available with a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed DCT automatic unit, producing 118 bhp of peak power and 172 Nm of maximum torque. The diesel engine, on the other hand, is paired with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic unit, delivering 114 bhp of peak power and 250 Nm of maximum torque.
In contrast, the Skoda Kylaq is available with a single 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine. This engine is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic unit, generating 113 bhp of peak power and 178 Nm of maximum torque. While the Skoda Kylaq lacks a diesel option, its petrol engine offers a balanced performance suitable for city driving and occasional highway trips.
