Land Rover launches MY26 Discovery Tempest and Gemini editions in India, priced from Rs 1.26–1.39 crore, with fresh design highlights and upgraded kit.
Land Rover has introduced two new MY26 Discovery special editions in India — the Gemini and the range-topping Tempest — with prices starting at Rs 1.26 crore and peaking at Rs 1.39 crore (ex-showroom). These refreshed trims bring subtle but distinctive exterior and interior upgrades, and mark the brand’s revised Discovery lineup for 2026 as it replaces the Dynamic S and Metropolitan Edition trims.

The Tempest edition leans into a premium visual theme. It is offered with up to 22-inch dual-tone wheels finished in a Petra Copper shade, matching roof accents and ‘Discovery’ hood lettering. The grille receives hexagonal elements in a Graphite Atlas gloss finish, while Tempest-specific puddle lamps and silver door sill plates add a tailored touch. Buyers can choose from three exterior colours, including Carpathian Grey, Varesine Blue and Charente Grey, and three cabin themes that mix Ebony and Light Oyster hues.
The Gemini edition sits as the more accessible Discovery for India. It features a gloss black roof, 21-inch silver alloys, silver skid plates with hexagonal motifs and a silver-finish grille. The Gemini broadens colour choice with additions such as Sedona Red alongside Fuji White, Santorini Black and Eiger Grey. Inside, the Gemini offers material choices between leatherette and fabric across several cabin themes to suit buyer preference.

Both editions are generously equipped. The Gemini includes a 12.3-inch digital driver display, an 11.4-inch infotainment screen with Meridian’s 12-speaker audio, three-zone climate control, a powered steering column and a 360-degree camera. The Tempest adds further premium kit with a head-up display, a 14-speaker Meridian system, four-zone climate control, powered third-row seats and a heated steering wheel.
Under the skin there’s no change: all variants use Land Rover’s 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbocharged mild-hybrid diesel producing 350hp, routed to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic. The Land Rover Discovery retains its 0–100kph sprint time of around 6.3 seconds while remaining a capable alternative to rivals such as the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE in India’s luxury SUV segment.
