Lexus India launches its first all-electric Lexus ES 500e, priced at ₹89.99 lakh, offering 580 km range and 338 bhp.
Lexus has taken a bold step in India’s luxury car market with the launch of the all-new ES, introducing an all-electric variant for the very first time. Priced at ₹89.99 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory), the Lexus ES 500e marks Lexus’ entry into the premium EV segment, combining cutting-edge design with sustainable performance.

The Lexus ES 500e is powered by a 75 kWh battery paired with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup, delivering 338 bhp and a claimed range of up to 580 km on a single charge. This makes it one of the most compelling electric sedans in its class, blending performance with practicality for long-distance driving.
Visually, the new ES draws inspiration from the LF-ZC concept, showcasing sharp body lines, a sharknose front profile, and a full-width rear lightbar. The enclosed grille and sculpted bonnet emphasize its futuristic appeal, while the coupe-like silhouette adds a sporty stance.

Inside, Lexus has opted for a minimalist cabin theme. A 14-inch central touchscreen dominates the dashboard, complemented by a digital instrument cluster and hidden switches that illuminate only when the car is powered on. While the ES 500e takes the spotlight, Lexus has confirmed that the familiar ES 350h strong hybrid will join the lineup later this year. The hybrid variant will continue to cater to buyers who prefer a blend of petrol and electric efficiency. Bookings for the ES 500e are now open, with deliveries expected to commence by mid-2026.
