Mahindra BE 6 Pack Three Unveiled: 79 kWh Variant Priced at Rs 26.90 Lakh
Recently, Mahindra introduced its newest electric SUV, the BE 6, offering three different versions: Pack One, Pack Two, and Pack Three. The high-end BE 6 Pack Three model is available for Rs 26.90 lakh, while the initial cost for the base model starts at Rs 18.90 lakh. As for Pack Two, information on its pricing is still pending.
You can start booking the top-spec Mahindra BE 6 Pack Three on February 14, and the other two versions will be available for booking in March. Deliveries are set to kick off around March too. For the first owner, the company offers a lifetime warranty on the 79kWh battery pack. You can choose from eight colors for the SUV, including Everest White, Firestorm Orange, Stealth Black, Tango Red, Deep Forest, Desert Myst, Desert Myst Satin, and Everest White Satin.

Mahindra BE 6 Interior and Features
The Mahindra BE 6 boasts a range of impressive interior features, including dual 12.3-inch floating screens for instrumentation and entertainment powered by Mahindra Artificial Intelligence Architecture (MAIA), a new two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated ‘BE’ logo, and an aircraft-style drive mode selector.
Convenience features include a wireless charging pad, while top-spec models offer dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof with integrated multi-color lighting patterns and UV protection, auto park assist, an electronic parking brake, a Dolby Atmos 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, ambient lighting, a powered driver’s seat with memory function, 5G connectivity with in-built Wi-Fi, OTA updates, a Level 2 ADAS suite, 360-degree cameras, and seven airbags.

Mahindra BE 6 Powertrain, Battery Pack,
Let’s talk about the powertrain of the BE 6. You have two choices for the battery pack, and rear-wheel drive comes as the standard option. You can choose between a 59 kWh or 79 kWh battery pack based on the model you pick. With the 59 kWh battery, the electric motor generates 170 kW of peak power, and with the 79 kWh battery, it goes up to 210 kW. The peak torque stays the same at 380 Nm.
According to Mahindra, you can travel up to 682 km on one charge with the 79 kWh battery. If you opt for the 59 kWh battery, you can cover a distance of up to 535 km. Mahindra states that the higher-spec variant of the BE 6 can go from 0 to 100kph in just 6.7 seconds. This car comes with three different drive modes: Range, Everyday, and Race.
The Mahindra BE 6 provides different charging choices to fit your requirements. It comes with an 11 kW on-board charger and can handle DC fast charging up to 175 kW. If you have the 59 kWh battery, it takes about 8.7 hours to charge from 0-100% using a 7.2 kW AC charger, and 6 hours with an 11 kW AC charger. For the 79 kWh battery, the charging times for the same AC chargers are 11.7 hours and 8 hours, respectively. With DC fast charging, you can recharge both battery options 20-80% in only 20 minutes. The 59 kWh version charges at 140 kW, while the 79 kWh one uses the full 175 kW power.
