Mahindra Thar Roxx 4×4 Gets a Luxurious Mocha Brown Interior Upgrade, in addition to the existing Ivory option.
Mahindra is introducing a fresh Mocha Brown interior choice for the Thar Roxx 4×4 models based on feedback from customers who had opinions about the current Ivory interior. Priced similarly to the Ivory option, the new Mocha Brown interior provides customers with an additional alternative, giving more flexibility to match your style and preferences. Please note that this interior variant will not be offered with the Thar Roxx 2WD models.
When you reserve your Thar Roxx, you can choose between Ivory or Mocha brown interiors. The booking fee is Rs 21,000. Official bookings for the Thar Roxx will start at 11 am on October 3, 2024. If you opt for the Ivory interiors, deliveries are set to begin in October 2024. However, if you prefer the Mocha option, exclusive to the 4×4 variants, you can expect it by the end of January 2025.

The Thar Roxx 4×4 models are priced from Rs 18.79 lakh and can go up to Rs 22.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-tier variant. The 4×4 feature is specifically for the diesel engine and will come in three trim levels: MX5, AX5 L, and AX7 L. The prices for different versions of the Thar Roxx 4×2 were disclosed. They start from Rs 12.99 lakh to Rs 20.49 lakh(ex-showroom).

Mahindra Thar Roxx 4X4: Features
The MX5 4×4 comes with some cool features like a large 10.25-inch touchscreen, a wireless charging pad, a reverse camera, a sunroof, an electronic locking differential, tire pressure monitoring, and automatic headlights and wipers. If you go for the AX5 L, you get Level 2 ADAS technology, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, connected car technology, and the IntelliTurn function. And if you opt for the fully loaded AX7 L, you get even more, including a panoramic sunroof, a top-notch Harman Kardon sound system, ventilated front seats, and 360-degree cameras.

Mahindra Thar Roxx 4X4: Powertrain
The Thar Roxx 4×4 is equipped with a powerful 2.2-liter diesel engine. In its most powerful configuration, this engine produces 150 bhp and 330 Nm of torque when matched with the 6-speed manual transmission. If you opt for the 6-speed automatic transmission, you get even more power with 172 bhp and 370 Nm of torque.
You can also get the Mahindra Thar Roxx 2WD model with a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine. It delivers 162hp and 330Nm of torque with the manual transmission, and 177hp and 380Nm when paired with the automatic. These engines come with a 6-speed manual gearbox and the option to upgrade to a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
