Mahindra XUV 3XO Adult Occupant Protection Scores
The Mahindra XUV 3XO received a commendable score of 29.36 out of 32 for adult occupant protection (AOP). In the evaluation, it was highlighted that the safety provided for the head and neck of both the driver and passenger was rated as good. However, the report mentioned that the protection for the driver’s chest was deemed adequate, but the safeguarding for the left leg was considered marginal. It got a score of 13.36 out of 16.00 in the frontal offset deformable barrier test, and a perfect 16.00 out of 16.00 in the side movable deformable barrier test, showing good protection. In the side pole impact test, it received an OK rating. Additionally, it met ESC test requirements. However, Bharat NCAP did not confirm if the body shell was stable enough for more stress.
