Mahindra XUV700 AX7 and AX7 L Now Costlier by Rs 30,000–Rs 50,000
Mahindra has recently adjusted the prices of certain high-end versions of its popular SUV, the XUV700. This SUV comes in various models with different fuel types, transmissions, seating arrangements, and drivetrains. The AX7 and AX7 L models of the Mahindra XUV700 have seen a price hike of Rs 30,000-50,000.
Only the top-tier AX7 and AX7L models have been affected by a price increase. Specifically, the AX7L diesel AT 7S, AX7L diesel AT 6S, and AX7L diesel AT 7S AWD have all seen a Rs. 50,000 bump in price. Likewise, the AX7 petrol AT 7S, AX7 petrol AT 6S, AX7L petrol AT 7S, AX7L petrol AT 6S, AX7 diesel AT 7S, AX7 diesel AT 6S, AX7 diesel AT 7S 4WD, AX7L diesel MT 7S, and AX7L diesel MT 6S versions now cost Rs. 30,000 more each.

Mahindra XUV700 Features
In the XUV700, the AX7 models offer some great features. You’ll find a Level 2 ADAS suite, cool dual-tone color choices, sleek 18-inch diamond-cut wheels, a 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory settings, automatic headlights and wipers, dual-zone climate control, and stylish leatherette interiors. On the other hand, the AX7 L variant includes a blind spot monitor, a 360-degree camera, an extra knee airbag (making a total of 7 airbags), an electronic parking brake, a top-notch 12-speaker sound system, comfy ventilated front seats, and rear LED turn signals that light up sequentially.

Mahindra XUV700 Powertrain and Price
Both versions come with a choice of engines: a 200hp, 2.0-liter turbo-petrol or a 185hp, 2.2-liter turbo-diesel. The AX7 offers a manual transmission with a petrol engine, but the AX7 L comes exclusively with an automatic transmission. If you opt for 4WD, it’s available only on the AX7 L with the diesel engine, but it will cost you around Rs 1-1.2 lakh more compared to the 2WD automatic models.
The costs of the AX7 petrol MT 7S, AX7 petrol MT 6S, AX7 diesel MT 7S, and AX7 diesel MT 6S models, along with all the other variants, are staying the same. The XUV700’s price starts at Rs. 13.99 lakh and goes up to Rs. 25.49 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom).
