Maruti Suzuki Manufacturing Facilities and Production Capacity
Maruti maintains a manufacturing presence across India with three production facilities. Two of these plants are strategically located in Haryana, specifically in Manesar and Gurugram. The third plant is situated in Hansalpur, Gujarat. The Manesar facility, encompassing over 600 acres of land, serves as a hub for both domestic and international vehicle production. Cars manufactured at Manesar find their way to global markets, including Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and neighboring Asian countries.
In 2024, approximately 60% of the 20 lakh cars manufactured by the company originated from the Manesar facility, while the remaining 40% were produced at the Gujarat plant. The current combined annual production capacity of these two facilities exceeds 23 lakh units. Furthermore, Maruti Suzuki is in the process of establishing a new manufacturing plant in Kharkhoda, Haryana, which is scheduled to commence operations in 2025. This new facility is anticipated to produce 1 million units annually.
