Bharat NCAP tested various Baleno models that included many safety features. These cars were equipped with seatbelt pretensioners and load limiters to help secure passengers better. ISOFIX mounts were available for attaching child seats easily and safely. Electronic Stability Control (ESC) was included to improve vehicle stability. All five seats had seatbelt reminders to ensure everyone stays buckled up. In one version, the car had dual front airbags.
