Mercedes-Benz India has set the performance car market ablaze with the introduction of the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 and its enhanced variant, the GT 63 Pro. With starting prices of Rs 3 crore and Rs 3.65 crore (ex-showroom) respectively, these machines arrive as Completely Built Units (CBUs), amplifying exclusivity and engineering finesse in India’s growing premium sports car segment.

Powertrain & Performance

Both AMG GT models are powered by the iconic 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, synonymous with high-octane AMG performance. The GT 63 delivers a mighty 578 bhp and 800 Nm of torque, sprinting from 0–100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, while the GT 63 Pro is finely tuned to produce 603 bhp and 850 Nm, clocking 0–100 km/h in a blistering 3.1 seconds.

Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Design

Drawing inspiration from the Mercedes-AMG SL 55, the new GT 63 embraces a flowing coupé silhouette with a sculpted bonnet, revamped Panamericana grille, swept-back LED headlamps, and slim tail-lamps. It now measures 4,728 mm in length with a 70 mm longer wheelbase, delivering improved cabin space and practicality.

Buyers can choose from an exciting mix of standard and Manufaktur exclusive colors, including shades like bright white, red, and matte ‘Magno’ finishes. Optional upgrade packages—Chrome, Carbon Aerodynamics, and Night—allow further personalization of the vehicle’s aesthetics

Cabin & Tech Features

Inside, the 2+2 layout replaces the outgoing two-seater setup, increasing versatility. Premium touches include Nappa leather upholstery, an 11.6-inch vertically-oriented touchscreen, a 12.3-inch driver display, Burmester surround sound, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The GT 63 Pro also gets ceramic composite brakes, enhanced cooling, and aerodynamic aids like a carbon-fibre rear wing and diffuser.
