The 2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class: E 200, E 220d, and E 450 4Matic Variants Now Available
Mercedes-Benz has just introduced the newest version of the E-Class sedan in India, priced at Rs 78.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Similar to the previous model, the new E-Class will come exclusively in the long-wheelbase style. The E 200 petrol option begins at Rs 78.5 lakh (ex-showroom), the E 220d diesel is available at Rs 81.5 lakh (ex-showroom), and the premium model, the E 450 4Matic, is priced at Rs 92.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The E 200 deliveries are starting this week. The E 220d models are set to start rolling out around Diwali, while the E 450 deliveries are scheduled to commence in mid-November.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB Exterior
The latest E-Class long-wheelbase (LWB) model is a bit bigger than the previous one. It is now 13mm taller, 14mm longer, and has a 15mm longer wheelbase. Its size is similar to the S-Class, now measuring 5,092mm long, 1,800mm wide, and 1,493mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,094mm.
The new E-Class stands out with its impressive look. The front grille catches your eye with a big 3D logo at the center, surrounded by smaller three-pointed stars. LED headlights add a touch of high performance. It features sleek door handles and stylish 18-inch wheels.
At the back, you’ll find redesigned LED taillights with a star motif. Chrome details on the front, rear bumpers, and sides add a classy touch to the whole design. Buyers have the option to select from five different exterior colors for their vehicle: High Tech Silver, Polar White, Graphite Grey, Nautic Blue, and Obsidian Black.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB Interior
Inside, the E-Class features a redesigned dashboard. and comes with the MBUX Superscreen in the top model. The Superscreen is made up of three screens. There’s a 14.4-inch central infotainment display and a 12.2-inch digital instrument cluster. You also have a special 12.3-inch screen for the front passenger. Other highlights include a 730W Burmester 4D surround sound system, a selfie camera, a panoramic sunroof, four-zone climate control, power-adjustable rear outer seats, and 64-color ambient lighting. and wireless charging pads for both front and rear passengers.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB Powertrain
When it comes to the powertrain, the new E-Class gives you three choices. The E 200 comes with a 2.0-liter petrol engine, delivering around 195 horsepower. If you opt for the E 220d, you get a diesel 2.0-liter engine producing about 200 horsepower. For those seeking more power, the E 450 boasts a 3.0-liter six-cylinder petrol engine putting out 370 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. Mercedes says this engine can go from 0 to 100 kph in just 4.5 seconds. Plus, a 9-speed automatic transmission comes standard across the range.
