Mercedes-Benz India has unveiled the limited-run EQS 580 Celebration Edition, marking a significant milestone in the country’s evolving luxury EV market. Priced at Rs 1.30 crore (ex-showroom), only 50 units of this special edition will be available, making it an exclusive offering for electric vehicle enthusiasts.

Mercedes-Benz aims to elevate luxury with this Celebration Edition by focusing on rear-seat comfort, making it ideal for chauffeur-driven owners in India. The upgrades include:
- Reclinable Rear Seats: Up to 38 degrees recline with massage and lumbar support, ensuring top-tier comfort.
- Chauffeur Package: Enables electronic tilting of the front seats for better rear legroom.
- Nappa Leather Upholstery: Standard throughout the cabin for a premium feel.

Performance & Battery Range
Mercedes-Benz leads in range efficiency with the EQS 580 Celebration Edition. It comes with a 107.8kWh battery that produces 544hp and 858Nm of torque. The vehicle uses a dual-motor system for all-wheel drive. It can go from 0 to 100 km/h in only 4.3 seconds, making it quick for an electric car.
The car has a certified range of 817 km, the longest of any EV available in India today. Charging is fast—reaching 80% in just 31 minutes using a 200kW DC fast charger.
