Mercedes-Benz Launched EQB Facelift At Rs 70.90 Lakh

Mercedes-Benz India has rolled out an updated version of its EQB Facelift electric SUV, which is now available from ₹70.90 lakh(ex-showroom). The new model now comes with a 5-seater option and has received some style updates. You can now choose the EQB in either the 250+ or 350 4Matic variants

The Mercedes Benz EQB 250+ (5-seater) is priced at Rs 70.90 lakh.

The Mercedes Benz EQB 350 4Matic (7-seater) is priced at Rs 77.50 lakh.

EQB Facelift: Exterior and  Interior

The updated Mercedes EQB now sports a fresh grille design that showcases the classic Mercedes star pattern, similar to what you’ll find on their latest electric vehicles like the EQA. In addition to this, the car comes with tweaked bumpers and brand-new full-width LED tail lights with a horizontal pattern.

The interior showcases a star-patterned design on the dashboard and door trim, softly illuminated for a connection to the S-Class and EQS models. You’ll also find Mercedes’ latest touch-capacitive three-spoke steering wheel and the choice of open-pore wood accents.

The updated EQB model now features the newest MBUX infotainment system, a top-notch Burmester sound system with Dolby Atmos, dual-zone climate control, a 360-degree camera, ADAS Level 2 capabilities, stylish 19-inch AMG alloy wheels, and seven airbags to keep you safe on the road. Also, the EQB includes a heads-up display. You can now get the vehicle with either 5-seat or 7-seat configurations. The previous version of this car only came with seven seats, which is different from the current model.

EQB facelift: Performance and  Battery Range

Mercedes has introduced the EQB facelift in two versions: the EQB 250+ comes with a 70.5kWh battery and a single electric motor at the front, giving you 190hp and 385Nm torque. Conversely, the EQB 350 4Matic features a twin-engine setup coupled with all-wheel drive, producing a combined power of 292hp and a torque of 520Nm. This model can go from 0 to 100kph in a quick 6.2 seconds.

The smaller battery pack in the EQB facelift can take you up to 447km on a single charge, while the larger one can stretch that to 535km. If you use a DC fast charger, you can go from 10% to 80% in just 30 to 35 minutes. Charging the 350 4Matic version with an 11kW AC charger takes roughly 6 hours and 45 minutes, while the 250+ trim needs about 7 hours and 15 minutes for a full charge.
