The Auto Expo 2025 has witnessed the grand unveiling of the Mini Cooper S JCW, a car that promises to deliver an exhilarating driving experience. Priced at Rs 55.90 lakh (ex-showroom), this new model is set to captivate car enthusiasts with its enhanced performance and sporty aesthetics. Bookings for the Mini Cooper S JCW have commenced, with deliveries expected to begin in April.
Mini Cooper S JCW Exterior Design
The Mini Cooper S JCW has a striking exterior design that sets it apart. With a blacked-out front grille showcasing the iconic John Cooper Works logo, sportier bumpers, and wider air vents, this car catches the eye. Plus, it comes with distinctive JCW-specific LED daytime running lights (DRLs) that give it a unique look compared to the regular model.
Towards the back, the JCW model sports more athletic side skirts and a fresh rear spoiler. It also features a black rear diffuser and a tailpipe placed in the middle, all highlighted with red accents. The exterior detailing is black-finished, and it rides on 17-inch alloy wheels. You can choose from two colors: Legend Grey and Midnight Black, both paired with black racing stripes, roof, and wing mirror caps.

Mini Cooper S JCW Interior Features
When you step inside the Mini Cooper S JCW, you’ll notice the sporty vibe right away thanks to its red-and-black color scheme. The JCW sports seats are covered in black synthetic leather with multi-colored knitted fabric and red stitching, giving them a unique look. The special JCW sports steering wheel enhances the sporty atmosphere, featuring paddle shifters for added control.
Despite these sporty touches, the overall layout of the cabin closely resembles that of the standard Cooper S. One of the standout features of the car is the large 240 mm OLED touchscreen on the center console. It adds to the car’s unique charm. Additionally, the car is equipped with powered front seats and adaptive suspension.

Mini Cooper S JCW Powertrain
The Mini Cooper S JCW is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, which has been upgraded to produce an impressive 231hp and 380Nm of peak torque. This is a significant increase of 27hp and 80Nm over the standard Cooper S. The powertrain is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) that includes paddle shifters, a feature not available in the regular Cooper S. This combination allows the JCW to accelerate from 0 to 100kph in just 6.1 seconds and achieve a top speed of 250kph.
