Nissan Magnite CNG Launched: 6 Variants with 1.0L Engine, CNG Kit Priced at Rs 74,999 Extra.

In a bid to cater to the rising demand for fuel-efficient vehicles in India, Nissan has introduced a CNG retrofit option for the Magnite, available across all trim levels with the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. This strategic move places Nissan alongside Renault and Citroen, both of whom have been offering similar CNG-compatible options.

Affordable Retrofit and Key Specifications

The CNG kit comes at an additional price of Rs 74,999, making it a budget-friendly alternative for buyers seeking lower running costs. This kit is offered with the 1.0-litre NA petrol engine, exclusively paired with a manual gearbox. While the petrol variant produces 71 bhp and 96 Nm of torque, the CNG configuration is expected to slightly reduce output, ensuring optimal fuel efficiency while maintaining adequate performance.

Availability & Installation Process

Nissan has planned a phased rollout for the CNG kit installation, ensuring availability across seven key states initially: Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala, and Karnataka.Further expansion into other regions will follow based on demand.

Nissan assures customers that the government-approved standard fitment comes with a warranty of three years or 1 lakh kilometres, enhancing reliability and buyer confidence. Nissan Magnite CNG Kit Installation will be conducted at government-authorised fitment centres through Nissan dealerships.
