Over 2,700 Nissan Magnite Facelift SUVs Exported from Chennai Port
Nissan India recently shared some exciting news – they’ve sent more than 2,700 of the new Nissan Magnite facelift models to international markets in just a month. The initial shipment of this fresh compact SUV has been sent to South Africa. Interestingly, in October, the company sold 3,119 vehicles in India. This shows that Nissan’s exports and local sales are quite evenly matched. The Magnite, introduced in India in 2020, has been a key part of Nissan’s lineup, with more than 150,000 units sold worldwide.
During the event, Frank Torres, who serves as the Divisional Vice President for the AMIEO Region Business Transformation and as the President of Nissan India Operations, mentioned that. “Ever since the Nissan Magnite’s launch in 2020, we have seen a resounding acceptance and demand from customers in the South African market for the Made-in-India compact SUV. Our focus on the domestic and export market both are crucial parts of our strategy to deliver outcomes in line with ‘The Arc and India remains a key part of the growth strategy for the company. The export of the New Nissan Magnite will further enhance India’s position as an export hub and drive Nissan’s growth in the AMIEO region, exemplifying Nissan India ‘One Car, One World’ philosophy.”

2024 Nissan Magnite Facelift
Nissan recently introduced the updated version of the Nissan Magnite in October. The SUV got a few small changes to its exterior. The manual Magnite facelift is available at prices ranging from Rs 5.99 lakh to Rs 9.10 lakh. If you prefer the 1.0-litre AMT variants, they range from Rs 6.60 lakh to Rs 9.60 lakh. For those interested in the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol manual models, prices start from Rs 9.19 lakh to Rs 10.35 lakh. Lastly, the turbo-petrol CVT versions are priced between Rs 9.79 lakh and Rs 11.50 lakh. Keep in mind that these prices are all ex-showroom rates.

2024 Nissan Magnite Facelift Powertrain
Regarding the powertrain, the Magnite facelift keeps the same setup as the previous model. It has a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder engine available in two versions: naturally aspirated and turbocharged. The naturally aspirated engine gives you 71 bhp and 96 Nm of torque, while the turbocharged one offers 99 bhp and 160 Nm of torque. You can choose between a five-speed manual, an automated manual transmission for the naturally aspirated engine, and a CVT automatic for the turbocharged model. Nissan says you can get 20 kilometers per liter with the manual model and 17.4 kilometers per liter with the CVT turbo versions.
