Nissan recently introduced the X-Trail SUV in India with a starting price of Rs 49.92 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This SUV comes with three rows of seats and is being brought in as a complete import. Nissan includes a standard 3-year/1 lakh km warranty and three years of complimentary roadside assistance with the X-Trail. You can get the Nissan X-Trail in a single variant offered in three colors: Pearl White, Champagne Silver, and Diamond Black.

The X-Trail comes with some great features for you to enjoy. These include a cool dual-pane panoramic sunroof, a handy dual-zone climate control system, an engine start-stop button for convenience, an 8-inch touchscreen for your infotainment needs, a large 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, a wireless smartphone charger for easy charging, a fantastic 10-speaker premium Bose surround sound system for top-notch audio quality, and keyless entry and go. You can also switch between different drive modes for a personalized driving experience.

When it comes to safety, this vehicle has you covered. It packs seven airbags, a 360-degree surround camera for added protection, automatic wipers, ABS with EBD, traction control, a limited-slip differential, hill-start assist, and front parking sensors. Plus, it features an electronic parking brake with an auto-hold function and cruise control for a worry-free driving experience.

The X-Trail has a 7-seater setup. In the second row, you get a 40/20/40 split-folding, sliding, and reclining feature. The third row lets you fold and recline with a 50/50 split.

The Nissan X-Trail is powered by a 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine combined with a 12V mild-hybrid system. This engine delivers 163 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. The Indian version will feature a continuous variable transmission (CVT) as standard, providing power to the front wheels. Nissan boasts a fuel efficiency of 13.7 kmpl for the X-Trail. An interesting feature is Nissan’s special variable compression technology, adjusting the compression ratio to enhance power or fuel efficiency as needed.
